Whenever you take damage from a card you control, you may put that many +1/+1 counter on Blackstar.
As long as Blackstar has three or more +1/+! counters on it, it has trample, if it has four or more, it also has flying. If it has five or more, lifelink, If six or more, it has Indestructible.
