Playing without being attuned: DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or take 2d4 psychic damage. 1 Action to cast one of its spells. Once a spell has bin cast it can't be cast again until the next dawn. Use your spellcasting ability and spell save DC. Targets have disadvantage on charm saving throws, both for mandolin spells and when used as a spellcasting focus.
Spells: Fly, invisibility, levitate, protection from evil and good, cure wounds (3rd level), dispel magic, protection from energy (lightning).
