Dreamfire Draught

Dreamfire Draught deals X damage to target creature or player. If a creature dealt damage this way would die this turn, exile it instead. If it wouldn't, put a number +1/+1 counters on it equal to the damage dealt. A player dealt damage this way can't cast noncreature spells until the end of your next turn.
Surviving the potion is only half the trial.
