Players may cast creature spells as though they have Painborn, but it's an Aberration in addition to it's other types. Creature's that already have Painborn instead come
into play without -1/-1 counters. If Skorn is in play, when you use Painborn replace the -1/-1 counters a +1/+1 counter.
