the controller of target creature or land without a blaze counter on it. Put a blaze counter on that permanent. For as long as it
has a blaze counter on it, it has "At the beginning of your upkeep, this permanent deals 1 damage to you." (The permanent continues to burn after Fireheart Embers has left
the battlefield.)
