Makeshift Kaboomer

Whenever you crank Makeshift Kaboomer, it deals damage to target creature equal to the number of Contraptions in your scrapyard, then flip a coin. If you lose the flip, sacrifice Makeshift Kaboomer. If you win the flip, you may immediately crank it again.
I thought that "makeshift" was a given...
