The priests of Dacri were for many centuries important to the Safyron empire as they were responsible for keeping the Dacri artifact protected. An artifact which spreads sunlight over the Dacri coast and seashore so that the ships of our allies could arrive safely. That is, until they were turned into sahkin and the artifact was lost.
