If its neither night or day, it becomes day when Sciel enters the battlefield.

Whenever Sciel deals combat damage to a player, If its day, she gets X +1/+1 counters where X is the amount of damage she dealt. If its night, remove all +1/+1 counters from Sciel, each opponent loses Y life and you gain Y life where Y is the amount of counters your removed.
