the egg of the infinite darkness enters the battlefield with 10 minus x time counters on
it. at the beginning of your upkeep, remove a time counter from the egg of the infinite darkness, if you can't, sacrifice the egg of the infinite darkness, search your library and/or graveyard for a card named merikan, the dracolich end put it into the battlefield, then shuffle your library.
